The Return-to-Performance Program at the Center for Sports Performance and Research is designed to bridge the transition from injury rehabilitation back to high-level athletic performance. Our experts work with you following injury and rehabilitation to create a custom training program specific to the demands of your sport, helping you restore strength, refine movement, and reach your peak performance potential.

To get you back in the game, we’ll conduct a series of return-to-play tests and assessments which will enable your performance specialist to build an individualized training program tailored to you and your injury, targeting key muscles and any body parts affected by injury.

Our Return-to-Performance Program helps athletes return to sport after injury following both surgical and non-surgical treatment, including but not limited to the below procedures/injuries:

  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction
  • Total knee replacement
  • Rotator cuff repair
  • SLAP repair
  • Achilles tendon repair
  • Tommy John/Ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) repair
  • Ankle sprains
  • Muscle and ligament strains

Note: In order to participate in our Return-to-Performance Program, clients must have been discharged from formal physical therapy/rehabilitation and cleared by their doctor to participate in training and testing without restrictions.
