David Silva, PhD, manages the portfolios and pre-clinical partnering activity for neurology and neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and pulmonary and critical care medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Prior to joining Innovation, David was business development director at Washington University in St. Louis and, before that, the assistant director of business development at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he managed IP portfolios and partnering activities for diagnostic and therapeutic technologies focused on oncology, cardio-metabolic disorders, immunology and inflammation as well as led an early stage technology development fund. David earned his bachelor of science in microbiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master of arts and PhD in biochemistry from Boston University.
