Mass General Brigham Named to Newsweek’s ‘America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2023’

Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group has named Mass General Brigham as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity. The recognition results from a large-scale employer study based on over 350,000 company reviews. The complete ranking can be found online here.

There is still much to do, but we are moving in the right direction and hopefully inspiring other organizations to invest the resources necessary to make real progress in advancing DEI.”

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the core of Mass General Brigham’s workplace priorities. Mass General Brigham has committed to:

• Improve hiring, promotion, and retention of diverse leaders in the organization;
• Develop anti-racism educational courses and facilitate deep conversations about race and ethnicity;

Newsweek and Plant-A Insights based their scoring on a review of publicly available data, interviews with HR professionals, and an anonymous online survey of a diverse pool of employees at companies with 1,000 or more employees in the U.S. Respondents were asked questions about corporate culture, working environment, and other subjects at both their own companies and others that they were familiar with.
