In his role as a Contracting Associate at Mass General Brigham Innovation, Mudassir Husain is responsible for negotiating, drafting, and providing legal support for sponsored research agreements, research collaboration agreements, material testing agreements, and other agreements, concerning the use, transfer, and development of technology and intellectual property assets.
Mudassir received his LL.M in Intellectual Property from University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, LLB from Karnataka State Law University, MSc in biochemistry and BSc in chemistry, botany, and zoology from University of Mysore. Mudassir previously worked for two years at a law firm in Bangalore, India, where he was involved in corporate and civil litigation, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial and technology licensing agreements.
