Director of Business Development and a Senior Venture Associate on AIDIF (Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation Fund), Meredith Kernan focuses on supporting the commercialization of key Mass General Brigham digital assets, and exploration of potential digital and artificial intelligence investments for the venture fund.
Meredith has over a decade of experience working to build robust health systems. Before joining Mass General Brigham Innovation, she worked at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, a global health nonprofit, where she served as a strategic advisor to ministries of health in low-income countries, supporting national governments to optimize their health sector investments and forge meaningful partnerships with public, private, and academic stakeholders. As part of this work, she led comprehensive health workforce-strengthening efforts in eight priority countries, overseeing these initiatives from their initial scoping phase to national-level implementation. Her experience also includes serving as an advisor to a health tech start-up based in Myanmar and the National MS Society.
She holds an MBA from Columbia University and a dual BA in economics and history from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
