Jessica Jacobs is responsible for handling material transfer agreements, confidential disclosure agreements, human tissue transfer agreements, data use agreements, and other related agreements. Jessica formerly served as the assistant director of Dana Farber-Cancer Institute’s Office for the Protection of Research Subjects, where she managed daily operations and provided regulatory guidance to investigators, the IRB, and IACUC. While earning her law degree, Jessica interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office Health Care Fraud Division in Boston, Boston University’s Office of Research Compliance and Health Information Privacy, and the CareGroup, Inc. General Counsel’s Office, where she provided legal support for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and several other hospitals and physician practices within the CareGroup network.
Jessica holds a JD from Boston University School of Law, an MPH with a Health Law concentration from Boston University’s School of Public Health, and an undergraduate degree in biology from Boston University. She is a member of the Massachusetts bar.
