Ilona supports the intellectual property management and commercialization efforts of technologies developed by clinicians and researchers of multiple departments at Mass General Brigham. Prior to joining MGB Innovation, Ilona held a research position within the Stem Cells & Functional Models group at Biogen.
Ilona earned her BS in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from IMC FH Krems in Austria with an integrated semester at Harvard University as a Marshall Plan scholar. She completed her graduate studies in Biomedical Research at Imperial College London, where she was awarded the National Heart and Lung Foundation scholarship and IFER graduate fellowship.
