Dr. Keith Dreyer is the chief data science officer and chief imaging information officer for Mass General Brigham, the vice chairman of radiology – informatics at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and co-chair of the Mass General Brigham AI Imaging AI Governance Committee. As the chief data science officer, Dr. Dreyer leads the global Mass General Brigham AI team to develop and scale advanced analytic capabilities in support of Mass General Brigham’s strategic initiatives. He interfaces with executive leadership from public and private sector businesses and senior leadership across Mass General Brigham, fostering an environment to support health care transformation through cutting-edge data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Dreyer is also the associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School. He is ABR board certified in diagnostic radiology with a bachelor of science in mathematics, master of science in image processing, and a doctor of philosophy in computer science. In addition, Dr. Dreyer earned medical fellowships in imaging informatics and magnetic resonance imaging from Harvard University at Mass General Hospital. 

Dr. Dreyer is the chief science officer for the American College of Radiology’s Data Science Institute and has held numerous board, chair, advisory, and committee positions with the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine, and numerous global healthcare corporations. He has authored hundreds of scientific papers, presentations, chapters, articles, and books and has lectured worldwide on clinical data science, cognitive computing, clinical decision support, clinical language understudying, digital imaging standards, and implications of technology on the quality of health care and payment reform initiatives. 

In 2023, Dr. Dreyer received global recognition for his achievements when Time Magazine named him to its first ever Time 100 AI List, highlighting the 100 most influential individuals in artificial intelligence today. The list features leaders, policy makers, artists, and entrepreneurs across a variety of fields from countries around the world.

Additionally, Dr. Dreyer received The Dr. Joe Gitlin Award in 2023. Presented annually from SIIM, this honorary award is given in recognition of outstanding lifetime contributions to the field of imaging and informatics through the development of innovative, high impact solutions.

Trung Do, MBA, MA

Vice President, Strategy and Operations, Mass General Brigham AI

Trung Do is the vice president of strategy and operations at Mass General Brigham AI. Do’s team leads strategic efforts focused on convening Mass General Brigham’s clinical and research expertise, the Mass General Brigham AI’s productization know-how, and industry’s go-to-market capabilities to grow and scale engagements, onboard new collaborators, and selectively launch strategic business units. Prior to joining the Mass General Brigham AI, Do served as the vice president of business development at Mass General Brigham Innovation. His background includes more than 20 years of experience in strategy, business development, management consulting, and operations. Prior to Mass General Brigham, he served as the director of operations at PharMetrics, a venture-backed start-up, providing health care market insights to the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and health plan sectors of the market. He began his career in health care and life sciences as a consultant with Arthur Andersen and Boston Biomedical Consultants. 

Do served as the president of GeneInsight, Inc., a company of Mass General Brigham, before it was acquired by Sunquest Information Systems. He currently serves on the scientific advisory board of the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology and as an advisor to Brigham and Women’s Hospital Trauma Imaging Research and Innovation Center. Do holds a master of business administration and master of arts from Boston University and bachelor of science from University of California at Irvine. 

Michael Band, MEng 

Senior Director, Product Development Team, Mass General Brigham AI

Mike Band is the senior director of the product development team at Mass General Brigham AI. In this role, Band leads efforts between Mass General Brigham and industry to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to tackle complex problems in health care delivery, operations, and care coordination. The product development team currently supports several large-scale collaborations with companies across med tech, pharma, software, and high-performance computing. Prior to joining the Mass General Brigham AI, Band was a senior director of business development at Mass General Brigham Innovation where he managed a portfolio of commercial opportunities, spanning the fields of artificial intelligence / machine learning, revenue cycle, and molecular diagnostics. Band received his master of engineering in biomedical engineering from Tufts University and his bachelor of science from the University of New Hampshire. 

Bernardo Canedo Bizzo, MD, PhD, MSc 

Senior Director, Digital Clinical Research Organization, Mass General Brigham AI

Dr. Bernardo Bizzo is the senior clinical director of the digital clinical research organization (CRO) at Mass General Brigham AI. In this role, Dr. Bizzo leads collaboration efforts with industry on artificial intelligence product performance evaluation projects inclusive of regulatory submissions. Dr. Bizzo is a trained diagnostic radiologist who received his doctor of medicine, master of science, and doctor of philosophy in neuroscience from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has successfully overseen clinical aspects of artificial intelligence product development, assessment, and utilization, which includes design and implementation of validation studies,as well as clinical deployment. 

Dr. Bizzo is a faculty member of the radiology department at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, as well as a senior scientist at the American College of Radiology. 

Thomas Schultz  

Senior Director, Enterprise Medical Imaging, Mass General Brigham AI

Tom Schultz is the senior director of Enterprise Medical Imaging (EMI) at Mass General Brigham AI. In this role, Schultz leads collaboration efforts with clinical and research leadership and industry partners to support the translation of artificial intelligence and machine learning models into clinical workflows at Mass General Brigham. He also supports the development of clinical review processes to ensure clinical oversight of automated findings. Schultz joined Mass General Brigham in 1997 to assist with the installation of the first radiology PACS. His role expanded to managing software development, platform, and imaging foundation teams, tasked with improving clinical workflows. He was promoted to senior manager in 2017 and senior director in 2020.
