Mass General Brigham Orthopedics Walk-in (Somersworth, NH): Coming Soon

Patients with an orthopedic or sports-related injury to muscles, bones or joints can receive same-day care at a Mass General Brigham Orthopedics Walk-in. Our walk-in locations are staffed by expertly trained clinicians, providing physical examinations, diagnostic imaging (including x-rays), and comprehensive evaluations to ensure fast, accurate diagnosis and treatment that puts you on the road to recovery as soon as possible. On-site casting and bracing are available. Opening in August 2024.

Mass General Brigham Orthopedics Walk-in offers diagnosis and treatment of the following conditions:

  • Ankle injuries/sprains
  • Arthritis/joint pain
  • Back injuries/pain
  • Bicep injury
  • Bursitis
  • Closed (bloodless) fractures
  • Collar bone injury
  • Elbow injuries/pain
  • Finger/thumb injuries/pain
  • Foot/toe injuries
  • Hamstring injuries
  • Hip injuries/pain
  • Knee injuries/pain
  • Muscle stiffness
  • Neck injuries/pain
  • Numbness
  • Shin splints
  • Shoulder injuries/pain
  • Sprains
  • Tendonitis
  • Elbow pain
  • Tingling
  • Torn muscles
  • Wrist pain

Conditions we will not treat

If you are experiencing an emergency, or any of the following conditions, you should dial 911 and/or seek care at your nearest hospital emergency room:

  • Chest pain
  • Dislocated shoulder
  • Rib pain
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Open fracture (skin punctured, bleeding, and/or visible bone)
  • Suspected concussion
  • Suspected cardiac arrest/event
  • Suspected stroke

Other details:

  • Care will be provided by Wentworth Health Partners Seacoast Orthopedics & Sports Medicine surgeons and physician assistants
  • This location will be accepting walk-in and call-ahead appointments
  • Free on-site parking with convenient handicap parking by front doors
  • Wheelchairs will offered by the front entrance
  • Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
