The Mass General Brigham Office for Global Professionals and Scholars (GPS) provides immigration services for Mass General Brigham Institutions, enabling access to talented professionals from all over the world.

- Processing visa sponsorship requests for all nonimmigrant staff, scholar, and student visas (including J-1, J-2, H-1B, TN, E-3, and O-1 visas)
- Advising both the hiring department and the foreign national about initiating and extending visa status
- Providing an international orientation for newly arrived researchers, which includes information about travel, visa requirements, and adjusting to life in the United States
- Offering visa presentations for hospital administrators, international tax resources, and other relevant programs
- Advising the Mass General Brigham community on travel requirements, changes to and extensions of visa categories, attorney referrals, and green cards
- Becoming a resource for visiting scholars/professionals to assist in their transition to work/life in Massachusetts
