Mass General Brigham’s site at Assembly Row is an 800,000-square-foot office building that opened in the spring of 2016. The Assembly Row site presented Mass General Brigham with the exciting opportunity to create a healthy and environmentally responsible building. The sustainability features of our Assembly Row campus benefit our employees, the community, and the environment. Features such as high-performance building materials, low-flow water fixtures, solar panels, and stormwater management help reduce costs while preserving natural resources. The underfloor air distribution system improves user comfort and indoor air quality. The building's orientation allows for natural light to fill the office space and maximizes views of the Boston skyline, the Charles River, and the surrounding area for a visual connection to the outdoors.
Assembly Row offers convenient access to the MBTA’s Orange line with a dedicated station stop directly behind our building, as well as discounted on-site parking for employees. Mass General Brigham currently offers employees three working arrangement options: entirely on-site work, a hybrid schedule (1-4 days a week on-site), or fully remote work. Each employee’s working arrangement depends on the type of work they are doing for the organization and is pre-determined based on position.
