Diana Schwartzstein

Vice President, Innovation and Co-Director, Innovation Growth Division

As Vice President of Innovation, Diana Schwartzstein drives Mass General Brigham’s commitment to inclusive innovation. Over her 20-year career at Mass General Brigham, Diana has been responsible for talent development, organizational growth, and strategy. She is deeply committed to to driving actionable innovation through inclusivity and enabling hands on staff talent and growth initiatives.

 

Diana co-leads the pioneering Innovator Growth Division (IGD) that unifies innovation training and talent programs, enables new innovators, enhances support to existing innovators and facilitates talent growth and commercialization across MGB.  IGD actively champions the empowerment of underutilized talent and positions MGB as a leader in inclusive innovation. IGD was established to nurture talent, offer customized development programs for MGB’s Harvard faculty, leadership, Innovation staff,  and individuals passionate about industry advancement.  Diana is also the Strategic Director for the Medically Engineered Solutions in Healthcare (MESH) Incubator.

 

As a member of the Innovation senior leadership team, Diana oversees finance, organizational, and business strategy. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo and a master’s in health communication from a collaborative program between Tufts School of Medicine and Emerson College.
