As a Director of Business Development & Licensing at Mass General Brigham Innovation, Daniel Neuman, PhD, is responsible for managing a team that supports research and licenses technologies, arising from numerous departments at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Woman’s Hospital, including in the departments of anesthesia and neurology. Daniel’s team also directly supports the Brigham Ignite innovation accelerator program at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital.
Prior to joining Innovation in 2018, Daniel was group leader of the chemistry, materials, and pharmaceuticals group at Global Prior Art, Inc., an intellectual property strategy consulting firm in Boston.
Daniel earned his BA from Boston University, and his PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara, both in chemistry, and was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein post-doctoral fellowship in 2008 during his appointment as a research fellow in the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Mass General. Daniel also interned with the Mass General Brigham Innovation office during his postdoctoral appointment.
