Experienced healthcare leader will also serve as chief operating officer for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization, and as senior vice president, operations, Mass General Brigham.
Mass General Brigham today announced that Kevin Giordano, MBA, FACHE, has been named president of Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and chief operating officer of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Physicians Organization and as senior vice president, operations, at Mass General Brigham.
“Kevin is a highly accomplished and widely respected leader," said Ron Walls, MD, chief operating officer, Mass General Brigham. “A measured and strategic executive with a steadfast commitment to our patients and our staff, he brings broad and deep experience in health care administration, strategy implementation, and operations improvement.”
Giordano has served in these roles on an interim basis since August 2023. After holding numerous administrative leadership positions since he joined the Brigham in 2008, he has most recently served as the hospital’s senior vice president of Clinical Services, responsibilities he continued to manage during his interim leadership roles. He has also provided strategic guidance and support as the Brigham’s executive partner for multiple clinical departments the hospital’s cancer program and several service lines. Giordano has also led key integration efforts between Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital helping to improve patient care coordination.
