More than 800 Mass General Brigham Physicians Named to Boston Magazine’s 'Top Doctors' List

We are proud to announce that, once again, Mass General Brigham doctors were well represented by Boston magazine in its 2024 “Top Doctors” issue, with more than 800 physicians from our healthcare system named to the list.

The physicians are selected from more than 60 different specialties as exemplary leaders in their respective fields. To prepare the annual list, Boston magazine partners with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a health care research group, and invites physicians and medical leadership of leading hospitals to identify highly skilled, exceptional doctors in the region. Castle Connolly’s physician-led team of researchers rigorously screens the nominated physicians to select those most highly regarded by their peers.

As last year’s edition did, this year’s issue features Mass General Brigham physicians on the cover. Dr. Jessica Allegretti, Medical Director for the Crohn's and Colitis Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dr. Ali Raja, Deputy Chair of Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital graced the 2024 Boston magazine cover.

Doctors from the following Mass General Brigham hospitals were honored this year: Brigham and Women's Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Mass Eye and Ear, McLean Hospital, Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
