Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine hosted its 3rd Annual Athletic Training Conference, “Building the Athlete’s Foundation,” on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. This conference explored the combination of training elements that can sustain and enhance an athlete’s performance, including nutrition, sleep, mental health, musculoskeletal and cardiac screening, injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and recovery. Attendees heard from leading experts in the field, learned about the latest sports medicine research and technology, networked with colleagues in the industry, and left with the increased knowledge, skills, and passion needed to advance their athletic training careers.
