Who we are
The Prostate Cancer Outreach Clinic (PCOC) is a joint effort between the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Department of Urology and the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Urology. The outreach clinic falls within Mass General Brigham's United Against Racism (UAR) initiative, as we work diligently to be active contributors to providing equitable access to health care services.
Our mission
Our goal is to assist in achieving health equity throughout Mass General Brigham’s patient population and surrounding communities by bridging gaps in care delivery and providing equitable and affordable health care services. We strive to reduce prostate cancer sickness and death.
Screening, diagnosing, and treating prostate cancer

We recognize that navigating prostate cancer can be challenging and have created a specialized clinic to help you receive the care you need.
We offer clinical support that provides prostate cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, if necessary. We can also help you with shared decision making for prostate cancer screening and treatment options, answer any questions you may have, and walk you through every aspect of your care plan.

Our team specializes in providing state-of-the-art prostate cancer treatments through a multidisciplinary approach so you can consider all your options. Our clinicians will also function as your care team long term.

How do I get started?
Contact our clinic to set up the first appointment. If you are not yet a patient at Mass General Brigham, please be ready with health insurance information, as well as primary care physician information.
Please note that all appointments, treatments, and procedures follow health insurance policy and guidelines; copayments and personal balances are not exempt.
Meet our care team
The Prostate Cancer Outreach Clinic operates under the joint leadership of two co-founders, Quoc-Dien Trinh, MD, MBA, and Adam Feldman, MD, MPH.
Quoc-Dien Trinh, MD, MBA, is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, Co-Director of the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center Genitourinary Cancer Center, Director of Ambulatory Clinical Operations at the Division of Urological Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Section Chief of Urology at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. He is the Lead Faculty for Cancer and Comparative Effectiveness at the Center for Surgery and Public Health, a joint program of Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health.
Dr. Trinh’s research focuses primarily on inequity and outcomes of cancer care. His publications include over 400 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and videos. His research is funded by the Vattikuti Urology Institute, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, and the National Institutes of Health.
He currently serves as the Associate Editor for health services research at the British Journal of Urology (BJU) International and Assistant Online Content Editor for the Journal of Urology. Dr. Trinh received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal in Montreal, Canada, where he also completed his residency training in Urology.
He completed his fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology at the Vattikuti Urology Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Trinh is fluent in French and Vietnamese.
Administrative Assistant: Jessica Lewis
Adam S. Feldman, MD, MPH, is a urologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Urology and an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Harvard Medical School. He specializes in the treatment of cancer and related research.
Dr. Feldman is a faculty member and Urologic Oncologist in the Department of Urology at Massachusetts General Hospital and is Director of the Combined Harvard Urologic Oncology Fellowship. He completed his residency in urology in 2006 and subsequently completed his fellowship in urologic oncology in June 2008. Dr. Feldman focuses his clinical practice in the treatment of genitourinary cancers, using laparoscopic, endoscopic, and open techniques. He focuses his research interests on translational and clinical research in kidney, prostate, and bladder cancers. He has received a Prostate Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award for his work in novel biomarkers in prostate cancer and has been awarded a Physician Research Training Award by the Department of Defense. He is a co-PI on a Department of Defense Synergistic Idea Development Award on the development of conditionally reprogrammed cells in prostate cancer and is a co-investigator on a National Institutes of Health RO1 on metabolomic imaging in prostate cancer. In addition to his translational research work in genitourinary cancer biomarkers, he has worked to develop clinical databases in active surveillance in prostate cancer, use of imaging and fusion biopsy in prostate cancer, surgical and ablative treatments for renal cell carcinoma, and renal mass biopsy.
