Child Care Resources

Mass General Brigham provides in-house, high-quality, developmentally appropriate traditional child care and backup child care to the benefits-eligible employees of Mass General Brigham and some community members.

Hours: Monday—Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 52 weeks a year, excluding holidays and two professional development days.

Enrollment priority is granted first to benefits-eligible employees and students of the MGH Institute of Health Professions, followed by benefits-eligible employees of Mass General Brigham and Mass General Brigham-affiliated institutions. Enrollment priority is first given to siblings of enrolled children, followed by benefits-eligible employees of McLean Hospital, benefits-eligible employees of Mass General Brigham-affiliated institutions, and community members. Backup child care

We also operate backup child care programs at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. These backup care centers offer emergency and backup child care for infants and children up to 12 years of age for benefits-eligible employees.

The Mass General Backup Child Care Center provides emergency backup child care for benefits-eligible employees of Mass General Brigham, including Mass General Hospital.

Brigham and Women's Health Care Center
850 Boylston Street (Rte. 9 East), Suite 210

Families should enter from the parking lot. The entrance is at the far-right end of the 850 Boylston Street building.

The Brigham and Women's Backup Child Care Center provides emergency backup child care for benefits-eligible employees of Brigham and Women's Hospital. Please note that the center cannot care for children who are ill.
